If you haven’t seen Looper, then you’re doing yourself a mighty disservice. Even if you don’t like Sci-Fi or Time Travel or all that riff-raff, don’t worry. Watch it anyway. Don’t believe me? Follow me down the rabbit hole.
This is one of a series of regular posts from my dear friend Randy. Check back every Monday for a fresh look at what has taken over Randy’s litter box of a brain that week. For more timely ramblings from him head straight to the source, @RMChase3.
Hey friends Randy here coming at you hard and fast with the new obsession. I was going to present you
with a obsession that is close to my heart. But then something happened this weekend I went to the
happiest goddamn place on earth. (For those of you that don’t know that’d be Disney world.) Now you
may be saying “Hey that’s not something worth obsessing over!” You would be right I’m mostly just
bragging. It’s what I did at the park that is worthy of obsession. Last year Disney launched a interactive
collectible card game in the park called Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. When I heard about it I was all
“What!? I love cards! And games! And collectibles! And interactivity!”
Sorry for the delay, I was too busy gorging on 4 Rivers BBQ. Mmmmmm. Be jealous.
In another case of startling misuse of law enforcement a man from Bradenton, FL was arrested for battery after he was accused of, you guessed it, giving another man a wedgie. Now, you might feel bad for this young man until you realize he is not but a wastrel as he was actually filming his wedgie escapades so he could profit from them by posting the film to Youtube. All good things to those who wait.
Do you like to longboard? Are you sure? Have no idea what longboarding is? Either way, watch the first 3:40 of this video and you’ll walk away hating it.
Who knew that 1993 was one of, if not the most important year in Rap music. NPR started off a long series of in depth looks at the music made that year and the culture that created it and was created from it. You can find the first episode “The Chronic” 20 Years Later: An Audio Document of The L.A. Riots online for free.
The Art Of Manliness has long been a source of knowledge and inspiration for me, but this week has featured some of the most truly informative pieces they’ve ever published. All week the site’s author Brett McKay has been running a series about testosterone and men based on his own insight and experiences. I cannot recommend these pieces enough, especially for young men but also for all men as well as significant others and spouses. Start with the first piece on The Declining Virility Of Men and The Importance of T and then work your way through the others Benefits of Optimal T, How Testosterone Is Made, and How To Increase Testosterone Naturally.

Hey what’s up for those of you that don’t know my name is Randy. (Although I should say that’s not
conditional if you do know me it’s still Randy.) I’m here today because I need to get something off my
chest. I suffer from OCD. Well OCD minus the Compulsive Disorder so maybe just O. This is something
I’ve recently come to realize. In my past I find something I really like until I consume all of it thoroughly
and completely and move on to the next thing that I obsess over. Well it’s time to stop keeping these
things to myself and share them with you, the people. So How Many Beards presents to you: Randy’s
Happy Friday ya weirdos. Have a great weekend!
And again Tuesday rears its ugly head like an unfailing hydra and alas we have no poisoned arrows. WHERE BE MY HERCULES?
Speaking of Hercules, the wife and I went and saw this on Friday. I highly recommend it, full review to come later this week or next. Prepare your bladder though, it has pretty much a full 3 hour run time. Also, for extra credit, check out the original Django.
Do you like word games? Yes? Then get your phone out right now and download this little gem. Available for FREE for iOS and Android. It’s fun to play, but also helps to wrinkle the brain because the twist here is that using letters already played by your opponent reduces their score and increases yours. Enjoy.
